Savannah, Georgia - Historic District
The owners of this two story structure on Broughton St. took advantage of the renewal of the area and decided to revamp their furniture business. To go along with the transition to dealing with upscale furniture, they renovated the building. The blank facade was removed and windows details were restored and the storefront was updated.
The interior was kept minimal to allow room for ample furniture displays. The ceiling joists and ductwork were left exposed, contemporary lighting installed and the concrete floors were painted black to modernize the vast warehouse and give the interior a more intimate feeling.
